i'm planning to swap in a k24a4 in my ef as a stock unit(no head swaps), with a type-s 6spd. i want to build another k (maybe a full k20a or k20/k24) but for now i'll leave the little accord motor(no true vtec) stock. do you think it is worth swapping with a few bolt-ons?

If you got a good deal on the motor sure it is worth it. You can always swap it later. I would go with a cheaper 5 speed with longer gears to make it more dd friendly and just put a RBC on it.

If you can get the swap cheaper... of course... X2 for the RBC.

As everyone else has said, if you get the engine for a steal than it would be worht it.

Keep in mind you have to run the KPRO with the accord engine, so that may change things.

Drop me an email, I can get you all of the parts you need to make that happen.

only thing that sucks about this swap is you have to cut a huge hole in your hood or run no hood at all...if that doesnt bother you then by all means do it...also if you plan on useing a traction bar the full race one will not clear if your pulley if you use the alternator power steering relocation kit...hope this helps you out a little bit
