K24A2/K20a2 in a 2001 Acura EL ( 56k)

Well i drive a 2002 Aura EL , this past summer i heard the bad news that i needed to change my head gasket on my D17a2 motor. So i called on of my good friends that does K swaps here on the East coast of Canada and ordered my self a K24 swap.So i am going to mention some of the parts we put in the motor.

Rsx shift linkage cables

Type-S K20a2 Head
Type-S Valve spring put inside of S2000 Valve springs
RSX Type-R intake cam with a TSX exhaust came
Blue print Racing K24 I-Beam rods
Type-S oil pump with a steal oil pan
OBX Racing Header
Full 2 1/2 inch stainless steal exhaust
Vibran High flow cat
Maganaflow resignator
Apexi WSII Muffler

Acura EL's are awesome... it's cool to see them modded since we don't have them down in the states.

Wowsers! Pretty sweet build. I assume it's pretty much the same as swapping a K into an EM2?

Well got some new parts last week for the EL . I have to change i Chain tensonor cause it has started to make some noise on when starting the motor so i thought i would be safe and order a Hybrid one , plus a few little extras.

Well after getting side swipped by a old guy here in Shediac , i finally got the chance to re-paint my car . So i have chosen to keep it black and have a few changes done to the stock appearance . Here are some pictures of the progress of the car .

Well i got my car back into my garage here a few cell picture i took of the new look .
We smoked the headlight,signal lights and all chrome on the car . Will have a few more picture of the car with a real cameras soon. Enjoy !!
