Now before all the haters hate, I know that I didn't build this car. But that doesn't mean I don't know whats going on. I am in the middle of my own ground up build. Which you can find on here. Which would be my EF. Well I usually don't buy other peoples projects but this was a deal in which I just could not pass up. Plus I needed a good daily driver. So I'm basically just considering this an excellent start. The car is a 1995 Acura Integra. Here is a few specs. There will also be more to come.

I plan on doin a few more things and here they are

exterior-new paint and color
interior-gonna go with either Recaro, Bride, or STATUS,also lookin for a few shift knobs
wheels-not sure yet but lookin for something wider and meatier tires
suspension-struts are fine but I plan on adding Function 7 lower control arms, all new Mugen bushings, as well as a traction bar and rear lower strut brace
engine-forged pistons, rods, new bearings, stock sleeves

Right now car is tuned by Stefan at ASP. I just recently left a Dyno Day at RRev motorsports in Portland Oregon and put down 474whp on a dynojet. Right now its kinda tough because I have three project cars now. My EF, RSX and my DC. Only time will tell:)

Yea the knob is 5spd. It's for my ep3 trans:) I need to find a different knob for my ef. Also did some more dyno pulls today. Top power made was 488whp. Not bad at 16lbs of boost.

but it is tuned for 463 with saftey and reliablity for my engine. I go for spirited drives oftenly:)

tonite I'm trying to diagnose my friends car. He has a k20 with ep3 5spd. Well the tranny worked great besides a slight grind in 3rd. Now after hitting boost a few times the tranny grinds when trying to engage in every gear. Any ideas anyone?

I drive this car everyday. But will also track it a once or twice this summer. Mainly trying to rods and pistons. Then some nice street slicks or something real nice. Tranny is completely stock. But I haven't ran into any issues as of yet.

Oh I read it wrong. I thought your transmission was grinding.

Definitely need to update your axles when you start racing that beast!

Yea it's my friend haveing the issues with the transmission

he has a ek hatch
2.1 Brian Crower fuily built turbo stroker
competion clutch twin disc
ep3 trans
Garrett gt35r
dss axles

everything was great for the two weeks that we drove it with no boost for break in. Then did a mild tune at 10lbs. On the way home after playin around the tranny started grinding in every gear. Including revearse. Then when you let the clutch out it makes a bad sounding shriek. Tranny is coming out today to hopefully diagnose the problem

with that out of the way. I pulled the tranny today. I swear it's easier than a b-series. Came across this

thought to myself....hmmmmm. Maybe it's the throwout bearing. Then upon closer inspection I came across this

every ****ing tooth was grinded off. Smooth as shit on both disc's. Really surprise's the hell outta me because we only went to 350whp:(
on the bright side clutch was brand new. Can we say WARRANTY:)

Yea it seems like the harder I run her and the more I dyno her the more she makes. She is def. A beast. I'm gonna try and take a pic of the sheet but all I got is an iPhone. We will see how it it turns out

So today I got bored and installed a pair of black leather o2 rsx-s seats. I made some brackets so that they are now just bolt in. I can rock ep3 seats as well. The seats don't move at all. I was tired of the grey leathers for one, and for two the grey leather was a lil worn out on the bolster. Was really buggin me. So

So today something happened that no one that loves there car never wants to happen

here is the setup

k24 turbo
ep3 tranny with wavetrac LSD
compettion 725 series twin disc
brass shifter bushings

so the car is acting like the clutch is slipping. But there is no smell of a burnt clutch disc. The pedal also feels a little different than before. I know usually when a clutch slips it smells really bad but like I said I smell nothing. So I don't have any other ideas of what it could be. Could it be the LSD. I really think it's clutch related. But I am unsure. Also there is no grinds or popouts at all. Other than the slipping everything else is perfect. Any ideas anyone?

there was some powder build up as well as some of the pad was starting to break away at the inside edges. I also noticed one tooth of the pressure plate was blued as well as a section on the flywheel

I obviously need new discs. Will any autoshop be able to resurface the flywheel? I don't really wanna put new discs in without a resurface

Yea I figured that much/\. I was just making sure there wasn't a special angle or step for a twin disc flywheel. This is my first twin disc. Also this is my first time cracking clutch plates:( I might be pulling out the rest of the swap. Possibly tradeing swaps with my ef. But then again I just picked up an eg hatch today for my real daily. Lol. I dunno what I want to do

New clutch should be here Tuesday. Got the new single cam in the eg hatch today. It's automagic. I wanted something that I wouldn't want to mod. Lol
