Ok, i am new here and can hear the boo's all ready but i have a few specific questions.
This is a track car.. It is still street legal as is right now but... Creature comforts are not many.

First the car... 00 ITR track whore..
http://adriana.12thfloor.com/main.php/d/2287-2/8_3_08+195.jpg

The swap..
K24a2 with 2009 Tsx pistons stock bore, arp head studs..
S200 oil pump conversion " no counter shafts"
K20z3 head, cam's intake. Mild port, mainly just a slicking of the runners, and intake manifold.

Trans: X2M5 6 speed RSX " 02-04" the 4.3 was removed and replaced with the 4.764 and a 2006 lsd installed.

Light weight cro/mo flywheel and a Mugen clutch from Japan " dont ask it cost a bundle"

Now for the questions..
1) what throttle body should i run?
2) what wire harness do i need k20? k24?
3) Charge harness?
4) What belt configuration to run? i do want power steering...
5)What throttle cable ?
6) intake system? filtration?
7) this one is funny....Where is the best place to hook up my accu sump? lol

Thanks for any and all help in this matter.

The swap has not been started, i have been building and rounding up parts to do it.. but she still has a hot B18c5 in her right now.

1) what throttle body should i run?
Depends on what the power goals are for the engine. You really can't go wrong with a ported intake manifold and a 70mm tb. Anything larger that that is good, but I would suggest a ported head and valve job to take advantage of the extra flow.

2) what wire harness do i need k20? k24?
You use the engine wiring harness from the K20A, K20A2 or K20A3 base 5spd.

3) Charge harness?
Use the same one as the engine harness. (both K20A2, or K20A, ect)

4) What belt configuration to run? i do want power steering...
Power steering and NO ac setups have to use a special belt. I suggest taking a piece of string and run it along the pulleys that you have on there and take that measurement to your local auto parts store. They should have a belt that would work.

5)What throttle cable ?
That depends on what intake manifold you are going to use. DC2 b series cables seem to work best with the stock PRB manifold. NON-RHD

6) intake system? filtration?
Depends on the intake manifold. AEM makes a hybrid intake with filter, as well as Karcepts.

7) this one is funny....Where is the best place to hook up my accu sump? lol
What part of the system are you talking about? Most common place I have seen is either inside of the car behind the seats, or mounted under the car around where the factory fuel tank goes. (if you use a fuel cell)

Great stuff.. At least i know what else i need to collect before i make the jump.

On the Throttle body question.
I will be running the K20z3 intake manifold to start out , it has been match ported to the head which did not take much work. Now please correct me but i will NOT be running a t/b that is fly by wire? So, if i switch to a cable driven t/b how do i control Idle air control?
is that not set up by the software in the ecu? It regulates the butterfly rather than a IAC valve?

And the question about the accusump was related to a main oil galley on the block. Whats a good place to tap in and bypass the oil filter?

Sorry for all the dumb questions but i have never got a straight answer from anybody about some of this stuff.

You can bolt up a Drive by cable throttle body to that Manifold.

You will have to use the adapter plate.

As far as the IACV the DBC throttle cable should have it on the bottom of it. If not you can delete it in KPRO.

I'm not really sure, I'm sure you could get creative with a sandwich plate. Use it to get the feed and return oil from the block and then mount your oil filter where you want. Instead of really using that, you could just get a oil filter relocation kit and use it to run your plumbing.

Just an idea...

So this weekend was quite productive.. My k 24 is in the bay.. Its a long way from a start up but.. its at least together and in. I have decided not to use the high end k24/k20z i put together to work out the bugs in everything " i dont want to rick the motor" but to use a stock element motor i have " 3 of ". 160/160 is all i get at first lol.

I hit a few snags.
1) Belt, what belt do i use for a k24 with power steering and no ac? I tried the one your power steering kit recommends " to short".
2) throttle body spacer plate , guess i need one.. lol
3) I think i may have gotten screwed on the engine harness and sold a auto harness. Can they be converted? re pined or such?
4) cooling lines what works the best? I was looking at the variety out there of lines, radiators etc and its massive.. I was going to have my ports moved on my Fluidyne and buy hoses but one housing is plastic and that spooks me on a track motor.

Any words of wisdom?

1. That will have to be determined by you. Run a piece of string around the pulleys as you want it and then measure the string. You local auto parts store should be able to supply you with a belt with similar lengths.

2. If you have an RBC intake manifold, yes, you will need one.

3. There is a way, but it isn't worth the risk or hassle. Get a used K20A or K20A2 harness and make your life much easier.

4. I'm not sure what you are asking. We have drop in radiators specifically for the K20 swaps... maybe look into them?
