Hi guys,

I've found today while working on the car that I seem to have a K20A3 IACV on my K20A2 throttle body. The nipple is straight down, not with an angle like K20A2 IACV's.

quite worrying me.... does anybody know if they're doing the same job not regarding the nipple's angle, and if the connector's wiring is the same ???

And for HR guys, I buyed a "Cold Air Intake EG/DC/EK Kswap PRB" from your site, it really bolts up to the tranny mount ?? Looks like it but just to make sure :D

thanks

The part numbers are different for each of them.

16022-PRB-A02 - K20A2
16022-PND-A02 - K20A3

Looks like the nipple is going to do the same thing that the K20A2 one does. If it bolts up and the connector plugs in I don't see why it would make a difference. That nipple is for the coolant, so I would install it in the way it normally goes.

What intake are you reffering to?

thanks for the info for the IACV, you end with the same results as I had. I'll know when it'll run !!! everything is already plugged the way it's supposed to. Except the nipple and the part number, they are the same, gasket number is the same too :D

I'll try to post pics of the intake tonight.

sorry I still don't have pics, but it's worse than I thought

the nipple just below the air inlet isn't pointing straight at all and will leak on the side
one of the IACV screw's hole is torn away from the TB, and it's a K20A3 iac on a K20A2 tb....

one of my friends used to K-series is looking at it right now to see if he can repair that sh*t up and find a good k20a2 iacv

looks like I need a new complete k20a2 tb
lucky that I got employee discount at my local honda dealer hahaha
