Another wiring question

Another question for Hybrid Racing guys, or any Canadian here who've done the swap with HR wiring harness

on step 24 of the instructions, it's said " If you are running a Canadian model EG/DC cut C101 pin 14 "
Why's that ? what is this wire for ?? I'm afraid to cut brand new things just because my car is canadian hahaha

And if I really need to cut, how do you count them, just to be sure to cut the good blue wire ??

I really hate wiring..... hahaha

It actually has to do with the day time driving lights that the Canadian models came with.

You read it from the back with the clip facing up (the thing you push down on)
