What's up guys? I'm gonna be swappin my first k series into my EF in a couple months and I'm super stoked and anxious of course but this is my first time messing with a k20 so naturally I'm a little on edge haha, is there anything specific I should look out for or any first time tips anybody is willing to lend???

Hello and welcome to HR forums. I would make a list of all the things you currently have then we can tell you what you may be missing. Remember to buy quality parts the first time and to take your time. Looking forward to seeing your build thread.

Have a great day!-Casey

do you have all the parts needed for the swap? I have most of the parts for your swap, I am putting my k24-20 into an eg and don't need these parts anymore

Just a heads up don't waste your money on budget axles or level 0 they do break even on street tires broke level 0 just shifting into second get the 2.9 and when u put them in make sure the inner boot ribs don't touch each other when car is on the ground not on jacks they will explode

I agree, build it solid the first time. What kind EF do you have...sedan, hatch, CRX?

I have a set of hasport mounts as well as the cable conversion for the ef it I had a ef hatch with a k20-k24 I am now installing the engine into an eg hatch the motor was just to much for the ef to handle. I also have a set of gator racing axles for the ef, let me know if you are intrested!

@ hondadave; yes I am interested in any parts you might have as long as they are still in good working order...my EF is the 90 dx hatch, I recently started to get my hands dirty with my wire tucking skills and I have to say I'm really loving it so far lol, I've only started tucking the part of the harness that's going over the shock towers....I don't really wanna tuck the entire harness then pull it all back out to swap the motor.

I don't need these parts anymore they are in good shape as far as I can tell I can sell the hasport billet mounts, brackets and cable conversion for $300.the axels i will let go for $200. I had my motor in a 90 dx hatchback. I have a twin disk comp clutch that I will sell as I bought a new clutch the clutch worked but it looks alittle worn it comes with its own custom flywheel. I am planning on a wire tuck as well I bought the hybrid tucked fuel line kit. and I plan on doing a brake line tuck with a chase bays kit. I want only the motor and trans in the engine bay as much as possible

I was able to get the hybrid shifter with the hybrid cables for my setup, I rebuilt the trans with all new carbon syncros, I cant wait to feel how this box is going to shift. I am used to linkage style tranmissions.
