Pretty easy actually just have to find the part. You need the RSX type S Shifter assembly. From there you just take out the locking bolt on the Z3 Tranny, remove (pull straight out) the Z3 shifter asssembly and replace it with the RSX assembly. you do need to drill and tap at least 1 hole as it is not drilled or tapped but there is a spot for it in the casing. You also have to get the RSX, Element, EP3 shifter cable guides and drill and tap 1 more hole for them to fit. Really easy and self explanitory once you start it. As long as you have the right parts you should be fine. Great writeup here

The EP3 5 speed shift arm will work but you won't have reverse lockout. I just found someone parting out parts of their tranny on K20A.org and got the shift arm. Both 02-04 and 05-06 will work. However, after the conversion, your tranny will be more like the 05-06 RSX's because of the VSS (speed sensor) frequency.

Be careful when drilling out the holes. I drilled them in the right places but I drilled them out too big. :( Ended up using Heli-coils to fix the threads.

Can you please post pics of your shift arm swap? I will do mine soon.

Thanks Again!
