first question is. i have an ex so i have ABS, i dont want abs so i started taking it out. is their anything i should be looking out for? as far as now i have all the lines off and the device that splits the front breaks up and the master cylinder and the rear lines. can i cut off all the wires for the abs?

next question. im tucking everything in so i dont want random stuff anywhere. on the fuel rail running to the fuel filter theirs a big black oval looking container. what is this? i know it has to do with fuel.

next question is im not gonna be using power steering so can i just not hook anything up and keep a power steering rack with out anything being worng? basically just not feeding fluid to it

any help would be appreciated,

So after looking..... and..... looking for ANOTHER clean EK I finally found one.

This car actually wowed me when i saw it in person because i had to actually look for body damage and there's is very...very..very little at that. With it being clean and all there are some issues like the suspension is pretty shot and the interior was eh lets just say they liked to eat.

What to see in this build???? To much plans to list just follow along and enjoy

8/26/2010-Today i started taking the sound deadening out and put on a ctr front lip that i got with the car and a ctr front grill that i picked up and last but not least hooked up my new OEM fog lights (also took some new pics of the car the way it sits now.

SOUND DEADENING....
Used lots and lots of dry ice to get the sound deadening

This is a track car.. It is still street legal as is right now but... Creature comforts are not many.

First the car... 00 ITR track whore..


The swap..
K24a2 with 2009 Tsx pistons stock bore, arp head studs..
S200 oil pump conversion " no counter shafts"
K20z3 head, cam's intake. Mild port, mainly just a slicking of the runners, and intake manifold.

Trans: X2M5 6 speed RSX " 02-04" the 4.3 was removed and replaced with the 4.764 and a 2006 lsd installed.

Light weight cro/mo flywheel and a Mugen clutch from Japan " dont ask it cost a bundle"



Now for the questions..
1) what throttle body should i run?
2) what wire harness do i need k20? k24?
3) Charge harness?
4) What belt configuration to run? i do want power steering...
5)What throttle cable ?
6) intake system? filtration?
7) this one is funny....Where is the best place to hook up my accu sump? lol

Well being 17 with no job this will be a SUPER LONG term project. This is the first car I have ever owned. I purchased my EG back in APRIL 09' completely bone stock. It was my beater for a few months till I got my four door EK. Reason why I got another car was due to the motor will be needing a rebuild soon. My goal for this build is to restore the whole car ground up, with some upgrades as well. The hatch might be going in for a color change, but i dont know what color right now. I will try to update this thread as much as possible, so bear with me. :D
